- Holders of official vocational training qualifications (specialization in Early Childhood Education).
- Holders of diplomas in Teacher Training (specialization in Early Childhood Education), Social Education, Social Work or Nursing.
- Graduates in Education, Psychology or Educational Psychology.
Preference will be given to professionals with proven experience or a demonstrable interest in working with young children and their families, and willing to broaden or extend their training.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- To acquire knowledge, strategies and skills for teamwork with children and their families, so as to contribute to increasing the families' confidence in their competences as educators of their children.
- To broaden knowledge of different professional functions and tasks, multidisciplinary teamwork, planning, community work and networking, from a strategic perspective.
- To acquire specialist training in educational intervention with young children, in collaboration with their families.
- To reflect on one's own educational practice, learn to write report and observations, and evaluate the different tasks and projects carried out, to guarantee the service quality.
- To reflect on the conceptual referents to understand the different social and cultural contexts of families with young children.
